Dylan King DK V8 under 20’s championship That’s how we roll

The concept is to create a website based on what topic you choose. The topic I have chosen is sport. And making a website for my competition called DK V8’S under 20’s. The website I used to create my website was weebly. We chose this company because the owner of the championship Dylan King. We wanted his name in their because being the owner we wanted to let every know who created this great competition. This competition is for those people under 20 ranging from 16 to 20 looking for a spot to be the next V8 supercar rookie. We are going to promote this by putting ads during the v8 supercar championship. I would like them to get info of what this championship is all about and what Dylan King is creating. Overall using weebly was very easy sometimes but also very hard. Hard in ways such as trying to find the right theme for the website. Easy in ways that you can put images, YouTube videos and so much more. The research wise I got my ideas from video games such as grid auto sport and also got the idea for the website with and getting Google images as well.

For my website I got my information and my research from the website v8 supercars. I chose this website because I chose sport and v8 supercars really interest me. I researched hard about what sport I wanted to do and what would be the easiest. I ended up choosing supercars. I got information, research and also ideas from the actual v8 supercar website. The v8 supercar website actually helped me a lot by choosing my events for the championship. For my research I ended up getting research on what are the prices for v8 supercar t shirts. I wanted this research and this info because I wanted to get my store looking like a real store with real prices.

DateTask / Activity completed 26/3Received the assignment, Mr Akca went over what is required and how to submit the work, the lesson was just about getting started, Mr Akca also showed us what weebly was and how to create a login 23/4I started the website, by logging onto the weebly and creating my account according to what Mr Akca has shown us and what was on the website. I went on Google and researched about the topic that I will like to make on weebly based on the the three themes. 24/4Stared to work on the website by making a logo using photoshop. Than started to put the pages I wanted in the website than started to put a little bit of information on the main page. 27/4Stared on making the about page on the website using Google images. Images such as V8 supercar images. Than stared writing more info on me and more about on the championship 29/4Stared to make more pages for the website such as tickets, contact and a shop page. In the tickets page im putting information on how you get tickets to our events. Than the shop page with where you can buy all the stuff you need for race day

Than put info on the page on how you can get tickets and offers 4/5Finished the ticket page and moved on to fixing the website by changing the pictures around and around again. Finally got it the way I wanted it now moving on to the contact page. 6/5Stated the merchandise page because had no ideas for contact page. Putting images of shirts and flags for race day. Now I want to start the contact page because i have some ideas. 7/5Today i put a youtube link on the home page to make the home page look a lot more interesting instead of putting information every where and pictures. 8/5Today I kept on changing my theme because I couldn't find one that I really like. But than I thought I should just stay with the one I had at the start. 11/5Today I stared to think about what I wanted to put in my contact page and also putting more information on pages and putting images to make the pages look interesting.

Than double checked than published it. 15/5Completed web site now starting on my Gantt chart to fill in a brief summery on what day and how long it took. Hope to start brief search summery and design sketches as well. Got the design sketches done and the brief summery as well. NOW IM FINISHED
