Split polynomial in half and factor out GCF of each group. 5. Common binomial is one factor and leftovers is other factor 6. Write final answer as a product of original GCF & binomial factors *If the expression can’t be factored at all, then it’s Prime. 7. Check work by multiplying back. * Note : if you factored out a GCF it’s not prime.
