Cisco Confidential 11 CSTG One Team. One Technology Portfolio. Built To Scale. A project is defined as a temporary endeavor with a beginning and an end that is undertaken to create a product, service, or result. There are typically 3 main constraints for any given project Scope: Refers to the product requirements that need to be delivered Time: Refers to the amount of time needed to deliver a product Resource: Refers to the resources needed to complete a project (i.e. infra, people, cost, etc.) These constraints are typically referred to as the Project Management Triangle where each side represents a constraint. One constraint cannot be changed without affecting the others. The challenge of project management is delivering a product while balancing these 3 constraints

Agile Development an iterative and incremental approach to developing software. Reduces the complexity of traditional software development by breaking down the long cycles often associated with traditional frameworks into smaller, incremental chunks (2-4 weeks) and iterating on it until all the requirements are met. Welcomes changing requirements, even late in development. Working software is the primary measure of progress
