Policies and Procedures

 The netbooks have Windows 7 and some AISD software loaded on them.  Please discuss with tech before installing any additional software on them.  Please train your students on proper use first.

 130 – 100 hallway, 30 laptops (going to live in the LMR)  230 (going to live in Room 209)  330 (going to live in Room 209)  530 (resides in Room 502)  110 – 100 hallway, 10 laptops  510 (resides in Room 502)  These laptops are available for anyone to check out through Wiggio. Their names only correspond to where they live.

 Teachers may reserve one cart of 30 and one cart of 10 at a time. Netbooks are NOT available for checkout on an individual basis  Carts are large and heavy, get help to move it, only teachers may get them.  Host Teacher will have key, please return the key when returning the cart

 Two power cables on carts of 30. Please plug into orange outlets only. Have nothing else plugged in to that outlet.  Only teachers may plug and unplug netbooks from the chargers.  Your discretion as to student taking from cart or you passing out and putting away.

 Students log in normally  Save to student folder on H or Flash drive  Keep hands and other objects off screen  Printing available in DLL in B&W only  Shut down laptop first, then close it.  Return all netbooks to cart, teacher plugs back in, every slot is full. Please make sure all netbooks are returned and are turned off.

 Each cart is returned with the following ◦ All 30 or 10 Netbooks, with charger cables plugged in ◦ Key ◦ COW cart info binder ◦ Plug in to orange outlet in host classroom  If for any reason a netbook is missing or stolen, please notify the campus tech immediately.

 A netbook that is physically damaged with intent and purpose, results in an automatic referral by you. Please note damage in the COW Issue Tracker and the campus tech should be notified as soon as possible.  If a netbook is accidentally damaged, the incident should be noted on the COW Issue Tracker and the campus tech should be notified as soon as possible.
