Unit 9: Food you like! Unit’s main points: Countable and uncountable nouns I like/ I’d like Much/Many Food Polite requests

I like /I’d like I like indicates that something pleases you generally. ex: Do you like tea? No. I like coffee. I’d like suggests that you would prefer something. ex: Do you like to drink something? Yes ,please. I'd like a cup of coffee.

Many and much 1-We use many with countable nouns in Questions and negatives. How many eggs are there? There aren’t many eggs. 2-We use much with uncountable nouns in questions and negatives. How much coffee is there ? There isn’t much coffee.
