South West Public Health Observatory South West Regional Public Health Group Community Health Profiles - origins Wanless report identified need for reliable and regular information to assess health interventions ‘Choosing Health’ White Paper recognised the need for clear, understandable and timely information about local needs and trends Association of Public Health Observatories commissioned by DH to produce Health Profiles. Health profiles produced by Public Health Observatories and where possible, discussed with Directors of Public Health
