SECTION 1 Olivia and Orsino

The Two Houses Lady Olivia! Sigh. I know his soul is in heaven. Duke Orsino! Sigh If music be the food of love play on.

SECTION 2 FREEZE FRAMES.

FREEZE FRAME 1. REPORTER 1 Bereft at the loss of her brother at sea. Viola is washed up on the shore. Viola O, my poor brother! REPORTER 2 She meets the Captain of the ship, who tells she is in Illyria where Duke Orsino rules. Captain A noble duke, in nature as in name.

FREEZE FRAME 2. Reporter 1 Viola seeks employment with Orsino but knows he will not employ a woman. ViolaI Cesario will serve this duke. Reporter 2She disguises herself as a young man to be known as Cessario. Viola Conceal me what I am.

FREEZE FRAME 3. REPORTER 1 Viola, dressed as Cessario, starts to work for Orsino and quickly becomes his favourite servant. ValentineHe hath known you but three days, and already you are no stranger. REPORTER 2But Viola, begins to fall in love with Orsino, her master. ViolaMyself would be his wife

FREEZE FRAME 4. REPORTER 1Across town Olivia, mourns her brother and won’t speak to anyone except those in her household. Olivia Give me my veil. Come, throw it over my face. REPORTER 2She refuses to accept Orsino’s advances. OLIVIATell him he shall not speak with me.

MALVOLIO18. THY SMILES BECOME THEE WELL; 19.THEREFORE IN MY PRESENCE STILL SMILE, 20.JOVE, I THANK THEE: I WILL SMILE; 21. I WILL DO EVERYTHING THAT THOU WILT HAVE ME. 22.LADY OLIVIA LOVES ME! YIPEEEEE! MALVOLIO EXITS EVERYBODY FALLS ABOUT LAUGHING. MOVE INTO NEW POSITIONS ON THE TRIANGLE.

EVERYONE FALLS ABOUT LAUGHING. MARIA23. LADY OLIVIA! MALVOLIO IS MAD OLIVIA 24. WHAT’S THE MATTER? DOES HE RAVE? MARIA25. NO MADAM, HE DOES NOTHING BUT SMILE. 26. HERE HE COMES NOW! 27.IN BRIGHT YELLOW STOCKINGS WITH CROSS GARTER! ENTER MALVOLIO MALVOLIO 28. SWEET LADY, HO, HO HO! 29. SOME ARE BORN GREAT! 30. SOME ACHIEVE GREATNESS! 31. AND SOME HAVE GREATNESS THRUST UPON THEM. OLIVIA32. HEAVEN RESTORE THEE! 33. TAKE HIM AWAY! Guards lead Malvolio away. Olivia exits. Everyone falls about laughing.

SIR ANDREWMarry, I saw your niece do more favors to the Count’s serving man than she ever did for me. SIR TOBY BELCHShe did show favor to the youth in your sight only to make you jealous. To put fire in your heart and brimstone in your liver. SIR ANDREWWhatever I do, it must be with courage. SIR TOBY BELCHChallenge the count’s youth to fight with you. Hurt him in eleven places. 3. VIOLA, SIR TOBY & SIR ANDREW
