Research Goals To provide a systematic description and comparison of the nature of the opportunity to learn standards-based content among english language learners and their native english speaking peers. To determine the most salient features of students’ opportunity to learn that impact students’ academic achievement. To examine the impact of data-driven teacher dialogue and curricular decision-making, to improve all students’ opportunity to learn standards-based content. To assist states in investigating key questions regarding English Language Learners’ opportunity to learn
