The San Jose Credit Union Inc., was founded in 1951 in the municipality of San Jose de las Matas, Province of Santiago, Dominican Republic.

This Institution has become the biggest Credit Union of the Country with a Membership of more than 60 thousand. Assets of US$130+ Million

Social Responsibility San Jose Credit Union Strongly believes that having a social responsibility to our members and our Community begins with  Strong Financial Results  Professional Management of our Members Funds

San Jose Principals are based on Financial Strength  Fulfillment of the Financial conservative norms universally accepted.  Application of an Ethics Code for directors and employees.  Development of talent and leadership.  Constant monitoring of the operations through a financial indicators tools.

Financial Aspects, Cont….  Establishment of procedures and Handbooks.  Administration of assets in agreement with the established recommendations.  Controlled loan delinquency and reserves for risky assets.  Supervision throughout External Auditors, Internal Auditors. Advice of monitoring and the Credit Union Association.  Protection of goods and savings of the members with an ample insurance coverage.
