Basics: There are four people in the room: You Your partner The interlocutor (your teacher) asking you questions playing the CD The assessor listening, taking notes
It is about minutes long: There are four parts: Phase 1a [4-5 minutes] Introductions – I will ask you some questions Phase 1b [6 minutes] Speeches – you will talk for 1 minute and your partner will ask you 2 questions Phase 2a [4 minutes] Listening – you listen twice to two recordings and answer questions. Phase 2b [4-5 minutes] A chat with your partner
