LET’S ADD SOME CONTEXT Dan looked at his sister dubiously after she gave him a piece of cake, as she was known for pulling pranks on all of her little brothers. Sometimes school can seem so long that one would even call it a perpetual experience. The pleasant upholstery made my stay on the couch a lot more comfortable.

LET’S ADD SOME CONTEXT Dan was right to be dubious, as he recoiled from the misleadingly delicious looking cake in disgust. I believe her last name is of German derivation. After receiving months and months of coaching, the rookie on the team now had a feeling of competence.

LET’S ADD SOME CONTEXT Instead of turning the other cheek, Dan wanted reprisal against his sister for what she had done. Dan needed to think of something truly appalling for the payback to be fair.

THE DEFINITIONS: Demolish- to wreck; destroy Dubiously- in a doubtful way; skeptically Perpetual- endless; lasting forever Sniping- attacking someone in a sly or deceitful way

THE DEFINITIONS Upholstery- the soft fabric covering furniture Recoil- to draw back from something distasteful or painful Derivation- origin; source Competence- a state of being capable

THE DEFINITIONS: Reprisal- an injury done in response to an injury received; retaliation Appalling- horrifying; dreadful
