North-The Arctic Ocean South-British Columbia and Alaska East-The Northwest Territory West-Alaska This is a map of Canada.

The land on the Yukon has ice cold lakes and rivers, mountains, active and dormant, volcanoes, glaciers, piney forests, and the shocking landscape of the arctic’s frozen tundra. This is Emerald Lake.

The capital of the Yukon is Whitehorse.  Another major city in the Yukon is Dawson. Welcome to Whitehorse, Yukon. This is Dawson, Yukon

 There is about 34,900 people living in the Yukon.  English and French are the major languages spoken in the Yukon.  The major religion is Protestant. This is a big crowd of people.

Mining is the most important industry in the Yukon. The territory has one of the largest deposits of tungsten, a valuable metal. Mining lead, zinc, silver, and gold is an important natural resource, too. Here is a picture of someone holding a gold nugget.

 On the Yukon mining lead, zinc, silver, gold, and copper is an important industry. Tourism is the second most important industry because of the beautiful scenery. Manufacturing furniture, clothing, and handicrafts are important in the Yukon. These people are touring the Yukon.

Chipewyan was the first Native American tribe to settle in the Yukon. Chipewyan is spoken by around 4000 native people in northern Canada today. These are Chipewyan people.

The Russians further explored the Yukon from 1836 to Russian smiley face.

 Yukon is the smallest of all the territories. This is a map of the Yukon.
