When presenting scientific or business data, the choice of font can dramatically increase or decrease your credibility as a presenter and choosing the wrong font will make it harder for the audience to retain your message. Limit the use of “ kitschy ” effects and type treatments. Multi-colors, excessive shadowing, and even italics should be used sparingly. Effects should only “add” value and slides should be a visual aid to the speaker, not a distraction to the audience.
