Latin America versus You Their Life versus Your Life

Information You will create a presentation comparing and contrasting a kid's life today with that of a child in Latin America. What was it like to be a kid there? Is your life similar at all to what theirs is like??

Process You need to create a presentation comparing and contrasting the life of a kid in Latin America with your life. You need to have 3 categories. For each of the categories, make sure you include as many facts, events, and traditions for Latin America and for you. You may use the handout provided. Graphic Organizer You must remember and cite each site you used to get information used in your product.

Example Categories Category 1: Birth and Infancy of a Child When did Latin American kids get their name? Why? What happened if the baby was born with a defect? Category 2: Childhood and Schooling When do kids go to school? What do they learn at school? Do boys and girls learn different things? If so, what do each of them learn? What kinds of toys did they play with? What kind of music did they play or listen to? Category 3: Teenage years through adulthood When can someone get married? How is their spouse chosen? What kind of rights do people have?
