Center Directions Read “Alexander, Who Used to Be Rich Last Sunday” by Judith Viorst Complete the graphic organizer to help you summarize the story On the computer, watch video clips that summarize Alexander’s adventures Put the video clips in order using video editing

Computer Directions 1)Go to 2)Sign in  Username:  Password: motionbox 3)Go to “Your Video Folders” 4)Select “Alexander” Folder 5)Play each video clip 6)Go to “Video Mixer” 7)Put the video clips in order in the video mixer 8)Save the clips as a new video – file name should have your name in it 9)Play the new video to see a summary of the story

1. Go to -Open up an internet browser -Type in into the address barwww.motionbox.com

2. Sign in Click on “Sign In”

2. Sign in -Sign in with Username: Password: - Then click “Sign In”

3. Go to Video Folders -Click on the down arrow next to “Your Motionbox” -This will bring a dropdown menu -Click on “Your Video Folders”

4. Select “Alexander” Folder Click on “Alexander”

5. Play each video clip Click on the thumbnail of the video – this will allow you to see and hear the video clip

5. Play each video clip Hit the play button to see the clip Remember that these clips are not in order. You will need to put them in the correct order. Take notes on the title of the clip to help you remember the order.

6. Go to Video Editor Click on “Alexander” to get back to the Alexander folder

6. Go to Video Editor Click on “Select All Videos”

6. Go to “Video Mixer” -Click on the down arrow in “Add to” -Select “Mixer”

6. Go to “Video Mixer" Click “Add and Go to Mixer”

7. Put the clips in order Use your notes and graphic organizer to help put the videos in order. To change the order of the clips, just drag within the “Arrange Videos” box. When you are done putting the clips in order, click on “Save as New Video”

8. Save as new video First select the “Alexander” folder from the dropdown menu Then save the video as “YourFirstNamean dLastName” Finally click on “Publish Mix”

9. Play your video you just created Click on the play button
