1. Getting Started 1a. Go to Click “Get Started”

1b. Log in with your existing and password or click “Sign up” to create an account.

2. Making a New Prezi 2b. Once signed in click on “New Prezi.” 2a. To see this page be sure you are in “Your prezis” along the gray bar at the top.

3. Choosing a Template 3a. These are a few templates you can choose from to start designing a Prezi. To see more you can click “More” at the top left under “Choose your template.” 3b. Click on the template you would like to use then click “Use template” in the lower right corner. For this example I selected the “Journey” template in the top right.

4. Dashboard: Orientation 4c. These brackets and circles are “frames,” which function as slides in Prezi 4b. These numbers show the order of frames in the presentation 4a. The “path” allows movement between slides

5. Adding a Title or Text 5a. Click on “Click to add text” to add your title You can also add text by left-clicking once anywhere in the Prezi.

6. Editing Text A bar will come up whenever you are typing something.

6a. Click “Title,” “Subtitle,” or “Body” to change the print within the your template design. 6b. Make the font smaller by clicking the smaller “A” or larger by clicking the larger “A” 6d. “Bold” and “Italic” 6f. Add bullets to text 6g. Change alignment of text 6c. Change Color of Text 6e. Makes the text background white.

7. Moving Around in Prezi 7a. Left-click and hold to move the screen up, down, left, and right. 7b. Zoom in and out of the Prezi by using the wheel on your mouse, or, hover your mouse near the edge to get the magnifying glasses to zoom in (+) and out (-). 7c. To zoom into a frame, click on that frame on the path on the left. Click on frame 2.

7e. Click “Click to add text” to add a frame title 7d. The orange box around the frame indicates we are looking at that frame.

7f. Click on the first frame to zoom back out.

8b. Click on “frames and arrows” at the top and insert a frame. 8. Insert a Frame, Line, Arrow or Highlighting 8a. This drop down also allows your to insert arrows, lines, and highlight.

8e. The slide you insert will automatically be inserted as the last slide in your presentation. 8d. The new slide will insert into the middle of your screen (we will move it later). 8c. If you click “Insert Frame” you get a bar of options for frame templates.

9. Insert: image, symbol, shape, diagram, video, music, file, or PowerPoint Slides 9a. Click on “Insert” to insert one of the above. 9b. Click on “Image…”

9c. Insert images from your files by clicking “Select files...” 9d. Search for internet images in the box that says “Search Google Images…” I searched for San Antonio.

9e. Left click and hold to drag the image into your Prezi (or double click).

9f. To insert PowerPoint slides click on “PowerPoint.” Not all features of the PowerPoint will transfer.

10. Adjusting an image, frame or text 10a. To move an image click on the image then left click and hold on the hand in the middle and drag the image. 10b. To enlarge the image click on the +. To shrink the image click on the -.

11. Delete an Image, frame or Text 11a. Click on the image you want to delete. Then click “Delete”

12. Choosing a Theme: Fonts and Colors 12a. Colors and fonts can be changed via the “Themes” button. There are preset themes and colors, or, you can create a custom theme.

13. Edit Path: Changing the Order of Frames 13a. Click “Edit Path” to change the order of frames, or to add/delete frames from the path.

13b. When “Edit Path” is in use, all of the frames will be numbered and linked. Please click on the frame you added in Step 8 (in this example it is frame 8).

Hover over the right upper corner of a frame and click the “X” to delete it from the path. Please delete the frame you added in Step Edit Path: Delete a Frame from the Path

15. Edit Path: Moving a Frame Left click and drag frames up or down in the path

16. Edit Path: Exiting the Path To exit from editing the path, click “Done” in the upper right corner.

17. Presenting a Prezi

To go to the next screen shot click the right (  ) arrow on the keyboard or the SPACE BAR. To go back to the previous frame click the left (  ) arrow on the keyboard. To zoom in click the up arrow on the keyboard. To zoom out click the down arrow on the keyboard. To end your presentation hit “ESC” on the keyboard.

18. Prezi Home Screen: Accessing a Prezi 16a. To access a Prezi, click on the title. Make sure you are under the “Your prezis” tab

19. Prezi Home Screen: Edit a Prezi 16c. To change the title, click on “Untitled Prezi.” 16b. Click “Edit” to edit the Prezi

20. Prezi Home Screen: Saving and Sharing 17a. To download a copy to present offline, click download. 17b. Click “Hidden” to change the privacy settings of the Prezi 17c. Click “Share” to obtain a link to send to others or add other as editors.
