ACE Parent Support Group - Assumption Co-Educators (ACES) Parents in Education Parents ’ involvement in school is encouraged – parents-be-involved parents-be-involved – Volunteering in schools through Parent Support Groups

Parent Support Groups Volunteers In a structured and co-ordinated manner – Allows you to volunteer in school programmes – Allows you to participate in school projects Opens doors to networking – with other like-minded parents who come from diverse backgrounds – possess varied skills and experiences – all interested in serving the students and the school Provides opportunities for you – to gain support from other parents in your parenting endeavours

Involvements Attending PSG meetings Providing feedback and suggestions – on parental involvement through the PSG executive committee Taking leadership positions – in the PSG Executive Committee when called upon Attend & support school functions and events – as members of the PSG Recruitment – other parent volunteers to join the PSG

Involvements Representing parents’ voices – provide constructive feedback to help school sustain improvement Offering professional and personal expertise – to the PSG to help improve its processes Supporting and advocating – the school’s mission, vision and directions
