Jessica Taylor died when she was 97 in She lived with 2 parents, 1 brother and a dog. Jessica attended Romsey Primary School then later attended Gisborne Secondary College. She was a famous actor who achieved her dreams and even went to university. She had great friends and family supporting her. She never gave up and now because of her dedication we have a museum in her memory. Walking around this museum you will see pieces from her childhood and learn more about her life. Thank you for coming.

Jessie was special to Jessica because Jessica was named after her. Jessica was born a month early and her parents did not have a name picked out. After going over names they still couldn’t decide so they thought everyone would think on it over night and decide in the morning. When her Mum told her big brother Ben to say goodnight to his new baby sister he gave Jessica a big kiss and said “Goodnight Jessie I love you.” Everyone in the room thought how beautiful and then her parents decided to call her Jessica. Her brother gave her a Jessie doll and she used to carry it with her. Jessica had this doll until she died.

When Jessica was little the one thing she used to take everywhere with her were books. When she was told to pack, the first thing she would grab were her books. She loved to read all through her childhood and read whenever she found time. Jessica’s favourite authors were Rachel Hawkins and Sarah Mlynowski. From these books her favourite series was the “Hex Hall” series and her favourite single book was “Gimme A Call”.

Every year Jessica and her family would go to Port Fairy. It was the big holiday of the year. Jessica loved it, she would swim on the beach, spend time with her family and explore Port Fairy. If they were not at Port Fairy they would be shopping in Warrnambool. Nearly every night they would walk along the pier or on the beach. Every year for fun Jessica and her brother would go on a Glider flight and explore Port Fairy from above. Jessica loved the beach so this was one of her favourite places and time of the year.

A big part of Jessica’s life was sport. Jessica played tennis, netball and basketball when she was younger. In netball by the time she was 12 she had won 2 grand finals and won more when she grew up. In tennis and basketball, after she was 12, Jessicawon a number of grand finals. Jessica played sport throughout most of her life and loved it. It helped her to stay fit, socialise and be a little competitive. She learnt lots of skills and made lots of friends. Sport was one of her favourite pastimes.

Jessica’s street was filled with children. They used to play together in the street every night. They were all really good friends and she learnt at a young age about friendships. The parents got on well together as did the kids and they used to do most things together. Even though the children grew up and left their friendships continued. Most of the families are still friends. The memories were never forgotten.

The song “Tiny dancer” was important to Jessica. It was her song with her Dad. They used to listen to it together all the time because it was a song that they both liked. The times they listened to it were special and it was fun for both of them as her Dad used to sing it to her when she was little.

Hi-5 used to be Jessica’s favourite show and she used to love the music they sang. She used to sing along with the T.V and even went to their concert. This was one of the first concerts she ever went to. This gave her the taste in music she developed. She loved to go to concerts after this. Hi-5 was a big inspiration when she was a child and she used to listen to their CD’s most of the time.

Jessica bought her mansion on 7/9/2034. She paid 4.3 million for her house. Her house has 74 rooms. She also had 3 pools. She used 14 rooms to house her workers and her 800 acres was used for her pets, pools and her theme park. Some of her rooms included: a bedroom, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms, a library, a spa, a dining room, an art room, a sport room, a money vault, clothes/shoes room, a music room, an entertainment room and many more. Jessica used these rooms at least once in her life and thought it was money well spent. Her house now is being used for tours and in 9 months will be sold for around 9 million dollars.

Jessica had a great carer but also had a record company where she made some of her money. A lot of famous people recorded hit #1 songs there, but now her daughter has taken over and it is still one of todays most successful company's. She had many people working there and they were close friends. Everyone was sad to see Jessica retire but the company is still a very happy place.

Jessica achieved a lot of things but one of the things she was the proudest of was winning an Oscar. She received her Oscar for acting in a movie and gave a very good speech. She was very surprised and so was everyone else because of how young and inexperienced she was with acting. Jessica won some music awards after that but until the day she died she was so proud of her Oscar.

Jessica had a perfume called Jessica Claire. The perfume was very successful and it was in the top 5 best smelling perfumes in the world. The bottle was see through and simple with her signature flower on it. The flowers are a simple white and very elegant. This invention she was particularly proud of and dedicated a lot of time to making. Her perfume is still being made and sold in shops today.

Thank you for coming to this museum. We hope you had a great time learning about Jessica. Please come again, goodbye.
