Building pride in Cumbria Do not use fonts other than Arial for your presentations Property Maintenance Cumbria County Council and other Cumbrian public bodies are seeking contractor/s to undertake responsive repairs and small planned maintenance works to properties throughout Cumbria: –Children’s Centres, –Depots, –Elderly Person’s Homes, –Fire Stations, –Libraries, –Offices, The service to be provided will be based on 3 No. overlapping geographical lots based roughly on the district boundaries, i.e. Carlisle & Eden, etc.

Building pride in Cumbria Do not use fonts other than Arial for your presentations Property Maintenance The successful contractor/s will be expected to provide a 24/7 service to fix all responsive repairs and small planned maintenance works, regardless of trade. The use of IT to provide real time updates on the progress of individual orders from issue to financial closure will be expected. Contractors will be measured on their performance to adhere to timescales via each stage in the life an order, i.e. date issued, practical completion, invoice submission, etc. The basis for payment will be on a predetermined Schedule of Rates, with the contractor/s appropriate percentage addition / deduction.

Building pride in Cumbria Do not use fonts other than Arial for your presentations Property Maintenance Collaborative working is a requirement of the service to be provided in order to improve the overall delivery of property maintenance via innovative ways of working, reduction in the overall carbon footprint, enhanced customer experience, etc. The Council will also undertake a physical check of a proportion of all repairs issued for quality, adherence to H &S Legislation and financial probity.
