Information on tour Why a “mystery tour” - you don’t know were you going, no arguments about camps, something new & you have to follow the leader! Enjoy the tour Only one section will exceed 200Km All parks are unknown to us (my research of years of traveling) All roads except “night under the stars” are tarred Average estimated cost: Less than R150 per night? Maximum: 20 caravans (First come first serve) Minimum: 10 caravans All camps have electricity Ablution blocks might be smaller but similar to our rallys but might be “plaas” R.S.V.P by no later than 10 Nov 2005

? ? ?

Day One 31 March 2006 Travel from home to starting camp (Details to follow) Meet up with the rest of the team Distance to be traveled: 100Km Briefing on tour & braai with team

DAY TWO 1 APRIL 2006 Depart for “CAMP ONE” Stock up with fruit and wine from the region on the way. After the evening’s braai. We will make our way towards the town’s pub! Sing along to “Ou Ryperd” with one of Maak- n-Las characters. Maybe we should take a drive to investigate the stars! This point is still to be investigated. Distance to be traveled: 150km

DAY THREE 2 APRIL 2006 Depart for “CAMP TWO” This is a tricky one - not too many clues? A bit of the Boer War history We are moving into biltong area – possible dried fruit I’ve never heard of anyone in the club that has stayed there. Distance to be traveled: 160km

DAY FOUR 3 April 2006 Go for a 4X4 drive into the mountain – approx 200Km there and back (This is not a must, but we can also share 4X4s’ & double cabs to accommodate those in cars) Sleep under the stars in the mountain or you can wimp out and sleep in a hut! Maybe we can beat the “PRO’s” counting satellites> 11 in one night! Guarantee: Most beautiful star evening – not to talk about the nature scenery

DAY FIVE 4 April 2006 Return from mountain drive and move onto “CAMP THREE” Count how many rivers we cross Relax & enjoy a very interesting town Bring fishing rods Chill out and explore the beautiful surroundings

DAY SIX 5 APRIL 2005 We will be off to a picnic – Bring swimming costumes, picnic hamper, BOOZE & walking shoes. Evening – Perhaps we go out for dinner? Once again; it’s a caravan park that I have not heard anyone talk of.

DAY SEVEN 6 APRIL 2006 Move onto “CAMP FOUR” Stock up on booze and maybe food Lots to do in area Distance to be traveled: 100Km

DAY 8 & 9 7 – 8 April 2006 Move to “CAMP FIVE” Tour a factory that makes mouth watering food Saturday – Relax and do whatever you want to do Saturday night – spit braai and lots of wine on one of my friend’s wine farm (To be confirmed) Sunday – Nico’s “Sergeant Major” breakfast for the ladies Break up – Bye Bye!
