This past week ► Awaiting reply from contact at Toshiba  Signal generator  Progress update ► Update project data  Updating website  Testing plans  Addressing problems from last week

Assembly Line ► From clean room  Hood and screen attached  Particle problems ► Antenna is attached ► Every other TV is being tested  Number of test stations exactly?  Each station has own computer

A Test Station ► Camera has IR transmitter to change channel to test pattern required ► Each camera is connected to computer and screen is measured against standard ► Antenna in back, lines up with transmitter antenna (no changing of cables.. yet)

Radiation Issues ► Microwave signal generator  Thermal damage  Excessive cell heating, burns at high energy ► Protection  Stand away, monitor output, shielding ► Communications Interference  Aluminum foil provides adequate shielding ► Skin depth at 50MHz is 12 MICROmeters ► Dr. Fleetwood recommended method

Objectives for Next Week ► Actually make contact with our guy and get stuff from him (info and hardware) ► Continue antenna design, testing research ► Enjoy break… while we can…
