“GOD’S ABSOLUTE TRUTH IS A MYTH” “I believe that each man must find the truth that is right for him. Reality will adapt accordingly. The universe will readjust. History will alter. I believe that there is no absolute truth excepting the truth that there is no absolute truth.” -- Steve Turner

“GOD’S ABSOLUTE TRUTH IS A MYTH”  66 percent of adults responded that they believe that “there is no such thing as absolute truth; that, different people can define truth in conflicting ways and still be correct.”  72 percent of those between the ages of 18 to 25 expressed this same belief.

“GOD’S ABSOLUTE TRUTH IS A MYTH” 38 “What is truth?” (John 18:38) 37 “…for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” (John 18:37)

“GOD’S ABSOLUTE TRUTH IS A MYTH”  Jesus always began where people were, but He never allowed them to stay there. So every time someone hears the biblical truth, there is—or should be— conflict.

“GOD’S ABSOLUTE TRUTH IS A MYTH” The fall into sin bent our steering mechanism. That’s why the LORD gave us the Bible:  to correct our steering.

“GOD’S ABSOLUTE TRUTH IS A MYTH”  The Word of God teaches us what to think and how to live. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, (2 Timothy 3:16)

“GOD’S ABSOLUTE TRUTH IS A MYTH” 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Tim. 3:17) Absolute truth corrects our false teaching and exposes our wrong living.

“GOD’S ABSOLUTE TRUTH IS A MYTH”  The ultimate work of the fallen powers is the death of our humanity.  So we come full circle, the death of our humanity begins when we reject the truth. That means that you must face the truth about yourself.

“GOD’S ABSOLUTE TRUTH IS A MYTH” Truthfulness came in a person. 20 Remember the words I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. (John 15:20)
