Solar Decathlon Scheduling App By Christopher Cutlip

Background The solar decathlon team is building the house on at the event. The house must be done in 5 days, before the start of the competition. There will be several hundred tasks required to build the house. The team needs a task scheduling app to help build the house quickly.

Problem/Solution The team needs a scheduling app to help build the house quickly. Devised an app that can take tasks with dependencies and build a scheduling graph. App can take data generated by scheduling graph and use it to advise task decisions. Work team tracking/communication abilities. App can provide status updates and modify critical path of project as needed.

Work Done: Objectives (Milestone 1) Database (Milestone 1) Scheduling graph (Milestone 2) Data generation (Milestone 3) Work Team Tracking and Communication.

Work Done: Work Team Tracking and Communication Can create/remove work teams. Can add/remove work skills to/from teams. Can delegate/remove tasks to/from work teams. Can view how work team skills match up with task skills. Can view which teams are on which tasks, and which teams are not currently working on tasks. Can view all tasks delegated to your work team. Can complete tasks, leading to more being assigned.
