10-3 Atomospheric Pressure 1 atm= x10 5 N/m 2 = x10 5 pa The SI unit for pressure is the Pascal 1 bar = 100 kPa Guage pressure is pressure measured at a local guage. To get absolute pressure, one must add the atomospheric pressure, P a, to gauge pressure.
