I need help  Sami is a very active teacher. He wants help his students to be productive, focused and creative. Thus he is planning to integrate multiple intelligences perspectives with his classes, but he is not sure if this theory would be useful or not?  Could you help him to make his decision?

We will help him by answering these questions  What do you know about multiple intelligence theory?  What are the potentially benefits of employing this perspective?  What are the challenges that may occur when apply this theory?  Describe teachers’ and students’ feelings about using this theory  What are the strategies that Sami could use to apply this approach?  If Sami does not use this theory, could you give him some alternative ideas?

Definition Six Thinking Hats is a system designed by Edward de Bono who is regarded as the leading international authority in the field of creative thinking, innovation, and the direct teaching of thinking as a skill. This system describes a tool for group discussion and individual thinking involving six colored hats.

The influences of six thinking hats on students' performance  1-Conduct a richer, more balanced exploration of any subject  2-Become independent thinkers  3-Objectively guide group discussions  4-Evaluate alternatives constructively  5-Improve research and writing skills  6-Think thoughtfully before speaking  7-Listen more intently to the views of others to gain a deeper understanding of issues  8-Present ideas with more confidence  9-Solve problems

Six thinking hats in business classes Improving students’ critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills Easy to use Could be applied effectively in other courses Whether discussions are more or less interesting when using method Facilitates creative discussion Whether method is more or less helpful to be able to see others’ thoughts on an issue or question
