Nannette Lewis Interiors Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts High-end residential interior design Small office, three staff including the designer, Nannette Lewis

The work environment was casual. I became well acquainted with my colleagues over the summer. I worked very closely with two other women in the office on a daily basis, as well as with Nannette Lewis. Work Environment

Copied Invoices Called different companies to get status on orders Sorted mail Organized fabric, wallpaper and leather samples Organized supply closet Confirmed cuttings for samples Deposited checks to the bank Answered phone calls Went to Design Center to return fabric samples Dealt with client needs Some of My Daily Tasks

Going to The Design Center when Nannette Lewis needed samples, and going through trimmings and fabrics of all different styles Organizing all the materials Nannette Lewis has used on her different projects Going to job sites to see the actual projects that Nannette Lewis was working on Favorite Tasks

I neatly organized bins of material samples used on past projects.

As An Architectural Studies Major I was better able to comprehend from past drafting classes many of the design concepts that Nannette Lewis drew up for her upcoming projects.

Spending more time in the office, I found myself managing my own tasks without seeking help from colleagues and really integrating myself into an office routine.

At my desk at work
