COURSES  Simulation of Production Systems (3 cr)  Discrete event simulation of production systems is used to measure system performance based on process models. Topics include model formulation, performance evaluation, and data collection.  Engineering Design Project (3 cr)  Engineering design project in an area you select, such as, computer- aided design, software engineering, manufacturing, materials science, biotechnology, measurement and instrumentation, or chemical process engineering. Your project will be evaluated based on a final presentation and report.  Conversational German (3 cr)  Fundamentals of the German language for speaking skills, comprehension, pronunciation, and understanding the culture.

TIMING  Apply by March 1  Arrival times:  Mon to Thu from 7:00a.m. to 6:30p.m.  Fri from 7:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. Central European Time  Classes  2 nd week in May to 3 rd week in June
