Education Technology “Education Technology is the study and ethical practice of facilitating learning and improving performance by creating, using and managing appropriate technological processes and resources.” (Januszewski & Molenda, 2008, p. 1) “Any tool that can be used to help promote human learning, including – but not limited to – calculators, tablets, Smart Boards, video cameras, digital cameras, MP3 players, Portable Digital Assistants (PDAs), and, of course, the computer.” (Jeremy Posey, Mathematics Coordinator for the National Math and Science Initiative)

Academic Improvements using Technology More than 75% of parents said technology had a somewhat positive or very positive impact on their child’s education. Only 3% said it was very negative or somewhat negative.
