Your Assignments You will think of challenges people face, whether it be big or small, serious or trivial. Now think how hard it would be to face these challenges with a disability. Your job is to research a disability and the Special Olympics, then analyze what it’s like to over come it by competing in these events. To do this, you will use journaling, graphic organizers, and research to publish a newsletter.

Goals FOR STUDENTS I hope that students increase their computer skills beyond the basics, while gaining an appreciation of the diversity of others. FOR TEACHER I want to be able to provide the resources and time necessary to ensure student success.

Getting Started In order to have a starting point, I have to first see what you know. To do so, you will complete the K-W-L Chart below. You will keep this chart throughout this project. Questions The “BIG” Question (This is the overall question for your project) How do people meet the challenges they are faced with?
