Screenwriter A screenwriter is someone, with a clear imagination, when writing screenplays for films – for strict deadlines. Of course the film industry is important and competitive, so if you are not doing your role of work to the standard required, you will of course, without a doubt get replaced by another. Screenwriters are always working freelance. Either they themselves create, and runs it to a producer. Or they’re approached directly, to create a screenplay based on a already story. It doesn’t necessarily require any qualifications to become a screenwriter. Just a long journey of building relative relationships in the industry, and plenty of practice. Preferably producers like to go with a screenwriter, with experience and at least two or three finished screenplays in the same genre, for evidence. Example: A producer has a romance novel, in need of a screenplay. He/she knows a couple of screenwriters however one has written the screenplays for men in black, but claims they can write romance. And the other has evidence of two finished -exquisite- screenplays, based on romance. Who would you pick?
