ZOX Request for a Minor Amendment to a recently approved special exception for a wood processing facility
ZOX Approval May 12, County Commission approved ZOX with conditions allowing the Goodwin’s to continue to operate and expand their wood processing facility on site at 106 SW 109 th Place. During review, proposal changed to include new buildings, site plan not correctly updated. This proposed minor amendment corrects the special exception plan consistent with conditions approved on May 12 th.

Removed word “existing” from the sentence under Wood Processing Working Area: Treatment of Wood Shall be Limited to Within Existing Buildings Removed wetland hatch from the Wet Log Storage Area Added two notes: 5. The acreage and land use area identified on the special exception plan are approximate and may be adjusted at the development review stage where appropriate. 6. The exact location and extent of the CMA/CE (Conservation Management Area/Conservation Easement) limits shall be determined at the development review stage.
