Welcome to Coach Reece’s Classroom

Class Rules Come in class prepared to work. That includes all tools necessary to complete each task All students and teacher are to be treated with respect at all times No food or drink in class Take care of all personal needs before class. Listening and follow directions will make your life much easier The only item at your desk will be your notebook and a writing utensil Dressed Appropriately Wear Badge Be on time in your seat when bell rings

Grading All homework is due on time / late home work will be graded accordingly. Once we complete a Unit, homework for that unit will not be accepted Home work will be passed in at the beginning of class. Not performed during class Quizzes should be expected at any time. Usually on the reading assignment or Vocab. Extra credit will not be given in my class If I cannot read it I will not grade it! Plagiarism is unethical and will result in zero and detention Cheating on tests will give you a zero and detention Tests and homework will be graded and sent back as soon as I am able. ALL MAKE UP WORK IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, NOT MINE.

Grading Grading –Quizzes / Homework 40% –Given with each Chapter and Unit –You must read everyday –Need to Knows (Dates, names, terms, places, etc.) –Expect a quiz at any time about material covered –Tests 60% –Consist of 40 Questions timed –One Essay Timed –Given at the end of every unit –Essays will be given with each test along with timed questions –Essays Will also be written outside of class and grading by peers in class under instructors supervision. AP Students must be passing after nine weeks or they will be removed to a regular class
