Tartu Health Care College (THCC) is the second oldest institution with educational background (1811) in Estonia after the University of Tartu (founded in 1632) gives professional higher education in the health care domain mission: Educational investment to the future of health care

THCC There are 116 persons in our college at the moment 79 teachers + 37 staff (average age 42) 12 are men 35 of our teachers work full-time. There are ~ items in our library Number of students is 1200, which 100 are male. The youngest student is 18 years old, the oldest 58.

Applied research studies Three research domains have been identified: the process of studies, health, and the evidence-based development of the profession. All curricula have prepared an implementation plan of applied research. These contain planned research studies, period of time, the principal investigator A research study has a principal investigator, colleagues, partners as well as students are asked to join a research group. Involvement of students in applied research studies so that they can also defend their final papers while being a member of a research group.
