 Uses asymmetry versus symmetry.  It grasps architecture in terms of space instead mass.  Bauhaus buildings are usually cubic.  favor right angles.  some feature rounded corners and balconies.

 Those who want to see the Bauhaus style of architecture need to go to Tel- Aviv (Hebrew city) in Israel and take a walk. Anywhere you look, you’re bound to see a white square building with round balconies and large windows.
