Komen, American Heart Association etc) Community response to natural calamities (Wild Fires, Floods, Landslides, Earthquakes etc.) Food bank, Immigration, Interfaith activities Awareness presentations in schools and work areas Share Resources Gurmat Camps, Career Counseling, Professional Networking Health and Legal Clinics, ESL classes Collective Representation City, County, State, National
Benefits of Alliance Generate resources and support for Gurdwara committees Joint resources and response during emergency situations United representation and larger foot print when participating in outreach programs Better quality of services for Sikh community and Youth Gain City, State and Federal support for our community needs
Proposed Structure Two volunteers from each Gurdwara for two years on rotation basis Voice of Gurdwara From current Gurdwara management committee or from sangat of that Gurdwara 3-4 hrs of weekly commitment Simple Structure - Meeting Coordinator and Volunteers
