The evolution of the methodology of ISdevelopment The evolution of the methodology of IS development PhM of NDT INDT

Introduction What are Program systems and complexes in quality management?

Program systems and complexes in quality management is a managerial ideology that combines business management with regard to quality (with built-in structure for its implementation) and advanced information technology. Productio n managem ent qualit y Ideol ogy IT

Program systems and complexes in quality management is a subsystem (or a subset of elements) of the corporate information system, in which the problem of development and implementation of a computer system of quality should be treated as one of the common strategy of automation of enterprise management system Ent. mana geme nt Subs yste m CIS Comp. of qualit y syste ms

Corporate information system. CIS standards

Corporate information system Corporate information system is a collection of information systems of separate business departments, united by a common document turnover, in which each part of the system performs the tasks of decision-making management, and all the system as a whole ensures the functioning of the enterprise in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9000 quality standards.

Operation of CIS is regulated by the standards 1. MPS (Master Planning Scheduling) 2. MRP (Material Requirement Planning) 3. MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning) 4. ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) 5. ERP II (Enterprise Resource and Relationship Processing 6. CSRP (Customer Synhronized Resource Planning) 7. SCM (Supply Chain Management).

Fig.1. Evolution of CIS standards

Standard MRS Master Planning Scheduling is a standard of business management, regulating CIS designed to produce a basic plan of production. It is a standard volume- scheduling planning.

Key words in MPS Business management. Volume-time scheduling. Sales plan. Replenishment plan (production or purchasing). Evaluation of the financial result. A small trading company. A simple scheme of production.

Standard MRP Material Requirement Planning is a standard for calculating the possibility of the new order fulfillment by the specified date at a specified output load. In case if it is impossible to fulfill the order by a specific date the system is able to answer the question of the costs of fulfilling a new order, if the customer still insists on the original term.

Key words in MRP Materials. MRP-program. Status of the material. Safety stock of the material. Material requirement. Inputs of MRP-system. Results of the MRP-system work. Algorithm of the MRP-system work.

DRP Distribution Requirements Planning is an automated system of requirements planning in distribution – full analogue of MRP system, but is used in distribution sphere.

Key words in DRP Stock control in the distribution network. Coordination of demand and supply of the departments (one or more enterprises). Creating links on supplies in the areas of production, supply and marketing.

MRP II Manufacturing Resource Planning is a standard for forecasting, planning and control of production, which are carried out through the whole cycle, from procurement of raw materials to the shipment of the final product to the consumer.

Main modules of MRP II 1. Planning business development. Planning company’s activity 2. Sales planning 3. Planning needs in raw materials 4. Production planning 5. Capacity planning 6. Fulfillment of the production plan 7. Fulfillment of the plan for material requirements 8. Achievement of feedback

Algorithm of MRP II work Algorithm of MRP II – system work. Hierarchical organization of plans in MRP II – system. Role of feedback in MRP II – system.

Questions: 1. Explain the scheme of the MPS- system functioning. 2. Does MPS- system model describe a large or a small enterprise, with a simple or a complex scheme of production? 3. If the company is developing dynamically, what problems can occur when working with the MPS- system? 4. Explain the BOM (Bill Of Material) and give an example. 5. Explain the methodology of MRP. 6. Describe the basic concepts of MRP. 7. Find information about MRP- system : The input parameters and work results. 8. Find information: the algorithm of MRP- system operation. 9. Find information: specific features of DRP- system. 10. Explain the concept of a "closed cycle" in CIS model? 11. Explain the purpose of the functional blocks in MRP II- system. 12. Explain the algorithm of MRP II- system operation. 13. What are the benefits of MRP II- system? 14. What is a hierarchical organization of plans in MRP II- system? 15. Consider the supply chain of MRP II- system and explain them. 16. Explain the role of the feedback in MRP II- system. 17. Find the material of the example of the product release planning in MRP II- system.
