1) BUSINESS TO CONSUMER (B2C)  B2C(Business-to-Consumer) is a most commonly discussed type of e-commerce in which online businesses attempt to sell via online directly to the consumers using similar concepts like product catalogs to purchase products without the intervention of sales personnel.  Example: Someone buying a television set from an electronics retailer would be a B2C transaction. 2) BUSINESS TO BUSINESS (B2B)  B2B(Business to Business) e-commerce, in which different companies do business with each other just like buying or selling good.  Example: When an automobile manufacturer conducts a number of deals like purchasing tires and rubber hoses for his or her vehicles.

3) CONSUMER TO CONSUMER (C2C)  C2C(Consumer-to-Consumer) sites offer free classifieds, auctions and forums where individuals can buy and sell their product and services. The consumer lists items for sale with a commercial auction site. Other consumers access the site and place bids on the items. The site then provides a connection between the seller and buyer to complete the transaction. The site usually charges a transaction cost.  Example: Ebay, where an individual can list an item for sale and other individuals can bid to purchase it. 4) PEER TO PEER (P2P)  P2P(Peer-to-peer) technology employs a network to put individuals in direct contact with each other in some form. P2P refers almost exclusively to computer based systems sharing information directly with others via the internet  Example: Skype, is entirely decentralized and distributed to each Skype user's connection.

5) CONSUMER TO BUSINESS (C2B)  C2B(Consumer-to-Business) is when a customer directly contacts business vendors by posting his project with a set budget online so that companies can review his project and contact him directly. Consumer to Business is a growing arena where the consumers request a specific service from the business.  Example: The World of Warcraft game updates and expansions, these are mainly based on user feedback. 6) BUSINESS TO EMPLOYEE( B2E)  B2E(Business to Employee) known as intranet provide website employee of an organization with information. Usually accessed through the organization network, but restricts uses by sign on and password  Example: “Meet the Team” likely to find a kind of expanded “about” page that includes information on individual employees

7) BUSINESS TO GOVERNMENT (B2G)  Refers to business selling good and services to government and also agencies.  Example: Firms that offer IT consulting services to government. The government uses B2G arrangement in order to keep it technology up to date in working condition. 8) MOBILE E-COMMERCE  Used to describe the growing trend of using networks that interface with wireless devices, such a laptops, handheld computers or mobile phone to initiate or complete online electronic commercial transactions. Also be seen written as M-commerce or m- commerce.  Example: ZILLOW.COM, mobile site when the user can see this when the type an address for anywhere in U.S images load quickly and make for an appealing layout.
