Commonly Misidentified Regions (This is NOT a list of ALL Regions)

Egypt overlaps the Middle East and also North Africa. It is commonly referred to in either way. This can sometimes cause issues with students, best advice is to understand the complexity of the area. Why would Egypt be considered, "Middle Eastern?" When it is technically ON the African Continent? Is Europe and Asia not connected? Should Africa-Asia- Europe be one big continent? Afro-Eurasia? In many ways it is.
