2015 Review Information Action Advocacy As a community outreach service, Smart Commute Metro North brings transportation and transit education and information to community festivals and events, provides updates to City Councils and interested organizations, and posts pertinent content on our website and Facebook page. In partnership with Way to Go and RTD, our outreach includes rideshare information, transit, bike and pedestrian mobility options and telecommuting information.

Smart Commute Metro North is committed to promoting activities that encourage commuters to rethink mobility options on a personal level and as a regional community. Transportation improvement and investment information forums, enhanced map programs and important partnerships are all tools we use to connect commuters with options.

Smart Commute adds our “voice” to NATA and member jurisdictions in support for funding important transportation and transit improvements in the north metro area. We believe a strong, consistent, collaborative message of support makes a difference. We are proud to be part of a coalition of advocacy bringing better mobility options to our region.

2015 Accomplishments Added a part time intern to our staff Retained all 21 existing members and added 8 new members Service outreach to Digital Globe, Avaya, Water World, and SAN Health Campus Provided 3 rd Annual Commit to Commute Green Program to Adams County Employees Completed scope of work for CMAQ TDM Grant Completed scope of work for TDM for CDOT Express Lanes Project for Segment 2 Created 5 new van pools in our service area Aggressively promoted RTD transit and Bustang options Staffed over 30 community events and festivals Worked with Water World on employee use of Federal Heights Call n Ride Service

Worked with RTD to extend the #8 bus route to 144 th /Huron Presented 3 rd Annual Trans Forum “NEXUS NORTH” Produced Concierge Commute Van Pool Video Organized and staffed two Bike to Work Event Stations Promoted DRCOG’s Go’Tober campaign with three large area employers competing region-wide Continued Advocacy for the completion of the North Metro Rail Line Continued Advocacy for RTD transit service to SH 7
