Best English Speaker Award Major Aims: To create a greater awareness of the importance of developing the correct and authentic English elocution skills as part of the essential school learning experience To encourage whole school culture in promoting near authentic spoken English To train students’ quick thinking on their feet using English as a medium so that they can speak as well as they write To recognise students with genuine passion for speech activities

Best English Speaker Award Awards Speaker of the Year (Junior) – Secondary 1-3 students Speaker of the Year Award (Senior) – Secondary 4-6 students Prizes A school trophy with names of winners engraved (to be kept in school) A personal trophy and book coupons (for each awardee)
