Although / Even though - In spite of / Despite Although/Even though, In spite of/ Despite are all used to show a contrast but there are differences in the structures used with them.

Although / Even though Although or Even though are used to combine or link sentences expressing contrast. Let’s see these two sentences: He had a lot of money. He didn’t want to buy a new car We can combine them: or When they go in the middle of the sentence, the comma is not normally used. Even though and Although have the same meaning but Even though is slightly stronger, it expresses more emphasis than Although.
