Portal X Watford Boys Grammar School

How To Get To Portal X: In the url tab, where it states learning. to get to “Portal X” you have to Remove Learning and type in, using your keyboard Portal X and the press enter.

Portal X When it loads you will come to a login screen, where you would type your school username & password and then press “Log On”

In Portal X When in portal x you hover your mouse over preferences and click on connection preferences, like highlighted.

Connection Preferences When you are in connection preferences, Click on the button stating, “Run Client Detection”

Run Client Detection When you have clicked on the tab run client detection, Click the box stating that you have read the citrix licence agreement and the click the big button highlighted “Download”

Start Of Download Now click on “Run” and this will prepare for the download.

Middle Of Download Now click “Run” again like highlighted. Once this has completed the installation, click on the tab “applications”, Which will take you back to your home screen.

After Installation Now You have completed everything. Click on “School Desktop Remote Access”

When Launching Now you are entering your school user account, which is basically the same as you logging at school. When the launching is complete (this may take a couple of minutes) it will bring you to your school login, which looks like this…

School Login You are now able to do everything you can do at school, but you are at home. You can access all your documents and homework that you might do in the library. If you save your homework on your login on portal x, you will be able to login into one of the library computers and print of using the library printer.
