Traditional food for Christmas In Romania

Being a magical celebration, Romanian people as well as everybody, celebrate it with a lot of joy and happiness. They gather around with all the members of the family and have a special dinner. Like any other special celebration, a special dinner needs special food. For Christmas, in Romania, we cook turkey or pork. On 20 th December there is a celebration of St Ignat. It’s the day when pigs or turkeys are sacrificed according to an ancient ritual.
