One endangered animal is the western Gorilla. There are many different animals in the Tropical Rainforest that are endangered.

Bengal Tiger Bengal tigers are large members of the cat family. They also can weigh up to 575 pounds Their live span is about 15 years. A Bengal tiger as been around for many years.

Toco Toucan Toco Toucans are bright colors that really stand out. It is the largest toucan of all toucans. The Toco Toucan weighs 10 to 17 ounces.

Long-tailed Macaque Long-tailed macaques are light gray to brown. Males weigh 10 to 18 pounds. About as much as your pet cat. The are good swimmers. They sleep in trees by the river.

Western Gorilla Western Gorillas have brownish-gray coats. When males are standing on its hind legs it is about 5 and a ½ feet tall. Males weigh from 300 to 500 pounds. When females stand on its hind legs they are about 5 feet tall and weigh about 200 pounds

Jaguar Jaguars are beautiful animals. They are a brownish-tan color and have black spots. Jaguars are often mixed- up with their cousin the leopard. Adult males can weigh anywhere from 250 to 400 pounds. And can be 7 feet tall when standing on their hind legs.
