Esther Story  Mordecai – Jewish man lived during exile.  Esther – Orphaned cousin of Mordecai, adopted by Mordecai, became Queen of Persia.  King Ahaseurus – King of Persia, took Esther as his queen.  Haman – A c hief prince of the king, he hated Mordecai and the Jews.
