Koalas live in a country called Australia. They also live in forests. They live in eucalyptus trees.
Koalas eat only one type of leaf, the eucalyptus leaf. Koalas eat different eucalyptus leaves. Unlike bears they are herbivores.
The babies are born 5 weeks after their parents mate. At 5 months the joey pokes it’s head out of the mothers pouch
Koalas arms are perfect for the trees they live in. Koalas have two thumbs.
Koalas are marsupials that means the females have pouches to carry their babies “koala” means no drink in Australia. Koalas are not bears. Koalas sleep a lot because their food doesn’t have much protein.
