Contents How the Lexus GS 450H works to provide environment sustainability How the Lexus GS 450H works to provide environment sustainability C02 emission caparison chart Dynamic braking system Consumer benefits (financial) Using the GS450h hybrid engine in a different product Disadvantages of the Lexus GS450H why it has not made great impact in EuropeDisadvantages of the Lexus GS450H why it has not made great impact in Europe Summary Bibliography

Lexus GS450h and how it works? LexusGS450H uses a unique hybrid engine to provide exceptional power and low fuel consumption. The hybrid engine is made out two engine’s one is conventional V6 engine and the other one is 147 KW engine The GS450 H also uses a dynamic braking system to provide environmental sustainability which will be discussed in detail later on It also emits extreme low C02 pollutions due to the hybrid engine. Back to content page

C02 emission chart The Lexus GS450 H is more environmentally sustainable compared to its competitors with its low c02 emissions measured in g/km. C02 emission s major contributor to global warming. Back to content page

Dynamic breaking system The dynamic breaking system uses the kinetic energy created from braking to charge and power electric engine. This therefore means that the electric engine does no have to be replaced or charged frequently. Disposing of battery is not good for the environment with the Dynamic breaking system that the Lexus GS450 uses, the electric engine does not need to be removed or decomposed of. Consumer benefits (financial) If you own a Lexus GS450 h you don't have to pay any road tax saving you hundreds of pounds which is more or less compulsory on normal petrol and diesel cars. It is exempt for congestion charge in London If GS450 h is provided by a company to you, then you don't not have to pay as much tax’s according to Clarkson you save “£2500 less than comparable Audi” Back to content page

Hybrid theory The hybrid theory is about using a part of Lexus GS450h(the engine which uses internal combustion) in a different product. The GS450h hybrid engine could be used in airplanes combined with the jets to provide more efficiency and sustainability. Back to content page

Why has Lexus no made global impact It is unreliable tends to breakdown, models including GS450 h have been recalled by Lexus. Costing over 40,000 pounds, it is very expensive and is not cheap for consumers. European model in a similar range are cheaper and more reliable. Back to content page

Summary The Lexus GS450H uses a hybrid engine to provide economical and financial benefits to the user also providing better environmental sustainability with low c02 emission compared to some its competetitors. Dynamic breaking system re uses kinetic energy thus recharging the electric engine. The method of (recycling) provides better sustainability as energy is not being wasted. Hybrid theory is about using the Lexus GS450h engine in an airplane to provide better efficiency and sustainability. The Lexus GS450h is unreliable and breaks down according to Lexus models including the gs450h have been recalled! The price of a brand new Lexus gs450 h is above pounds! Back to content page
