Routines in Year 1 – A typical day… 8.50 – 9.10 – Flying Start 9.10 – 9.30 Phonics 9.30 – Literacy – – Assembly – – Playtime – – Maths – 1.10 Lunch 1.10 – 1.40 Guided Reading 1.40 – 2.45 Topic lesson (Science, Art, Geography etc) 2.45 – 3.00 Playtime 3.00 – 3.25 Storytime

Your child needs in school each day… - Book Bag -Reading Folder -PE Kit --Water Bottle Please make sure uniform, coats and PE kit is named clearly to prevent getting lost.

Fruit and Snacks Key Stage One receive 1 piece of fruit per day at morning playtime. If your child would like to bring their own snack please ensure it is ‘healthy’ and NO NUTS! Milk – sign up forms from the office if you would like your child to have milk.
