Northeastern FFA 1480 Bowman Road Springfield, Ohio Advisors: Jeannie Anders Christy Wilbur Dear FFA Parent: One of our school year goals is to communicate better and more frequently with our FFA parents. To assist in achieving this objective, I would like to start using an application called Remind. I am also using Remind to communicate with students about class work, tests, assignments and FFA activities related to their applicable class. What is Remind? Remind provides a free, safe, and easy way for me to communicate with parents outside the classroom. I can use Remind to send messages directly to your phone or account regarding: upcoming FFA activities field trip scheduling changes upcoming home SAE visits When creating an account, you provide your name, address, date of birth and cell phone number. Remind does not rent or sell any personal data; there are no ads and personal phone numbers shared. Personal contact information is kept private between teachers, students, and parents. All messages are recorded and accessible by participants For the student class groups, your child will be able to receive Announcements from me. Announcements are one-way messages I send to the entire class. Your child can choose to receive Announcements via text message, push notifications, or . You will find on the back side of this letter directions to join the Northeastern FFA Parent group. I often send home letters and dates with students and find that much information does not make it to a parent/guardian. My hope is that Remind will help bridge that gap. Of course, this is not mandatory for anyone to join. If you prefer to not participate, I understand. So that I know this letter and instructions did make it home I am kindly requesting that one parent or guardian please sign below and the student return to me for acknowledgement. I am hoping this is yet another tool to better communicate with you on our many FFA activities and events. Sincerely yours, Jeannie Anders Parent/Guardian Signature: ____________________________________________________________________________
