What Surprised Me: What most surprised me was that he didn’t study to be an engineer in college. This goes along with his advice about being open to different jobs than you would have been expecting. Most Important Information: The most important information that I learned in the interview was that engineering covers a wide variety of fields. How Interview Influenced Me: When Mr. Bergeron said that he studied geology in college but was now an engineer, that influenced me. That showed me that you don’t need to know exactly what you’re going to do as a career, he had different plans for his career when he entered college, but when he finished he found a new career that he felt was a better fit for him.
